Training
Sports Chaplaincy Australia's training is recognised as a world leader. Our Level 2 Training is currently being applied by the Global Sports Chaplaincy Association as one of the key models for the development of sports chaplaincy training worldwide.
Level 1 – Basic Introduction to Sports Chaplaincy
Our Level 1 Training is free. It is a 2-3 hour presentation designed to give an introduction to sports chaplaincy as a way of serving the sports community. Participants are encouraged to identify whether community chaplaincy is an appropriate opportunity for them.

Level 2 - Certificate in Sports Chaplaincy

It includes 18 hours of delivered content (including a minimum of 14 hours face-to-face) along with additional reading and video presentations. The training includes instruction and role plays around certain skill sets, along with discussion and reflection.
