Stories from our network of dedicated chaplains who are serving local and elite sporting communities across the nation.
At Sports Chaplaincy Australia, we believe in the power of playing the ‘long game’.
To inspire you, we want to share with you some stories of how far we’ve already come.
Chaplains do the hard work in which few others dare to engage. They meet pain and suffering with care and the love of Christ. Where the church does not have access to listen, heal, or counsel, chaplains go with grace to comfort and pray with the lost and hurting. They are the Marine Corps of ministry.

Sports chaplaincy is a key for churches in terms of reaching communities. We could put on the best show every Sunday and we still wouldn’t have the entire community of Bendigo wanting to get into church. So part of our strategy is going to the community.
